The Mexico Academy and Central School District has launched a new responsive website that will improve the ease of navigation and help create stronger communication between parents, teachers, students and community members. Aesthetically, the new website bridges the gap between modernized designs and traditional schemes, creating a transitional style specific to the district.
St. Luke Health Services’ Diane Garcia is a recipient of a 2016 LeadingAge New York Long Term Care Employee of Distinction Award. Garcia, who has been with St. Luke for 26 years, is the assistant director of activities at the healthcare residence.
The statewide STOP-DWI Crackdown efforts start on August 19 and will end on September 5. New York State Police, county sheriff and municipal law enforcement agencies across the state will be out in force.
On September 2, Paul V. Now in finishing its eighth year, the Springboard Mural Project is dedicated to the beautification of the river walk at West Linear Park. Community youth paint murals along the river walk, both sharing their art with the community and helping cover up graffiti.

The Hannibal Central School District community is all smiles thanks to an oral health care initiative that will be implemented in the fall. In collaboration with the University at Buffalo and with the efforts of state Sen. Patty Ritchie, the district will launch the “S-miles to Go” program beginning in October.
Brass Exchange will perform a free concert at the gazebo on South First Street in downtown Fulton. They will play on August 19 from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. This is part of the City of Fulton Summer Concert series.
