Scott Krippayne To Perform In Oswego

The Fulton Good Friday Cross Walk will be held on March 25. Walkers will meet at 10:15 a.m. in the parking lot of Holy Trinity Parish, 309 Buffalo St. Walkers will take turns carrying a large wooden cross in the downtown section of the city of Fulton.
As a project-based learning activity, 65 ninth grade and 10th grade honors humanities students created either an exhibit, documentary, research paper, website or a performance about the Kenneth E. Behring National History Day theme of “Exploration, Encounter, and Exchange in History.”
The event, hosted by Oswego County Workforce NY and the Center for Instruction, Technology and Innovation (CiTi), will be held on March 23 at the CiTi main campus in Mexico and is open to all juniors and seniors of Oswego County.

Students of The Blue Team at the Stepping Stones Day Program are participating in a campaign designed for schools to help their communities. The students are collecting change throughout the month of March that will be donated to the “Pennies for Patients” program that assists local patients battling leukemia, lymphoma and myeloma.

Altmar-Parish-Williamstown Central School District student Syndey Jones emerged as the winner of the 2016 English-Speaking Union Syracuse Branch Shakespeare Competition recently. The competition begins at a local level where students memorize and perform a 20-line monologue from a Shakespeare play.
