The Strengthening Families Program will start again on March 3 at the Fulton Junior High. Families with children ages 7-17, meet weekly through May 19 from 5:30 – 7 p.m., with a light supper provided at the beginning of each session.
Pulaski High School Senior Mariah Lacour has shown that perseverance pays off. After she fell behind in classwork and received failing grades during her junior year at school due to increased anxiety, the Pulaski Academy & Central School District approved her transfer to the Academic Center.
Members of the Operations and Maintenance departments from all nine Oswego County school districts, as well as from the Center for Instruction, Technology and Innovation, recently took part in the annual School Facilities Association Seminar and Trade Show held at Mexico Middle School.

The Hannibal High School Spanish Club will hold a spaghetti dinner fundraiser on March 6 from noon – 4 p.m. at the Hannibal American Legion on Rochester Street. Dinners are $10 and will include spaghetti, meatballs, bread, and dessert.
Inspirational gospel singer Sherry Anne is bringing her Labor of Love tour to Redfield on February 28. The public is welcome to hear her sing and share the story of her journey from a child with a bilateral hearing and speech impairment to an inspirational gospel singer with an authentic and elegant voice.
Pysanky: the Ancient Art of Ukrainian Egg Decorating is being held at the Amboy 4-H Environmental Education Center located on State Route 183 in eastern Oswego County.
The Oswego High School Varsity Winter Guard will travel to Rochester Saturday (February 20), to compete in a Winter Guard International Regional Competition. The guard will perform in preliminary competition at 1:43 p.m. at Gates Chili High School.
Ticket sales for this year’s “Bundle of Bucks” Charity Raffle have been brisk and the St. Luke Family of Caring is pleased to announce winners in the “Early Bird” drawing. Everyone who purchased a “Bundle of Bucks” Charity Raffle ticket by February 14 was entered to win.
A free parent information night will be held at the SUNY Oswego Sheldon Hall Ballroom on Feb. 22 at 6 p.m. for all those interested in taking advantage of the opportunities through the Center for Instruction, Technology and Innovation’s New Vision programs, which provide career-minded learning experiences to high school seniors in preparation for college.
