The Center for Instruction, Technology and Innovation is one of 131 school districts and Board of Cooperative Educational Services in New York State to receive the Utica National Insurance Group’s “School Safety Excellence Award” for 2015. The honor, presented annually, recognizes school districts’ safety efforts as they work to help keep students, staff and visitors safe.
Members of the Pulaski Middle/Senior High School LEO Club recently spent the afternoon picking up around their school in an Earth Day community service project. The members divided up into teams and picked up around the front of the school, the football/track area, baseball/softball field and tennis courts.

The Oswego Community Health Assessment completed by the Oswego County Health Department found that nearly 32% of adults across the county smoke, 28% of pregnant women smoke and the cancer mortality rate is the highest in the state.
Student musicians in the Phoenix Central School District recently treated an audience to an evening of song during “Musical Desserts.” In a cabaret-style setting inside the John C. Birdlebough High School cafeteria, students sang, played instruments and entertained a large crowd.
Fulton City School District eighth graders and their parents learned about the scheduling process, graduation requirements and course offerings that will be available to them next year at G. Ray Bodley High School at a parent information night.
