While not considered the traditional “construction season” here in Central New York, work on the $9.1 million St. Francis Commons Assisted Living Residence in Oswego has been making progress since the project got under way in mid-November.

Students enrolled in the Stepping Stones Day Program at Oswego County BOCES participated in a classroom activity from their unit on The History of the Earth by designing, building and painting volcanoes in order to complete an experiment using baking soda and vinegar.
Trained child passenger technicians will be available to the public on April 17 from 1-3 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Central Square, during the WIC clinic. The event is free and open to the public and no appointment is necessary.

Nominating petitions are now available for one 5-year Sandy Creek Board of Education seat. Interested candidates can pick up a nominating petition at the office of the District Clerk located in the District Office between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Completed petitions must be returned to the District Clerk by 4 p.m. on April 22.
