Students from Oswego County BOCES’ Burton Ramer Technical Career Center were awarded medals in 22 separate competitions during the SkillsUSA Section II Regional Competition held at State University of New York at Morrisville on February 15.

The towns of Minetto, Oswego and Scriba recently took action to seek a review of the city of Oswego Fire Department’s Ambulance Service Certificate by the New York State Department of Health. The three town boards adopted similar resolutions authorizing the Scriba to pursue a review by the Commissioner of Health of the city’s operating territory.

In 2005-06, the Sandy Creek Central School District Board of Education set policy for the district that opened opportunities for the Superintendent of Buildings and Grounds, and the facilities department to pursue initiatives to reduce energy consumption and make their facility more efficient.
