The recent Granby Elementary School holiday concert showcased student performers and gave members of the community an opportunity to enjoy the beautiful sounds of the season.

Volunteers spent many hours wrapping more than 800 presents for residents, to be distributed by none other than Santa Claus himself, along with Mrs. Claus, at resident and family Christmas parties taking place throughout the coming week.

Dave Ruch, a performer and teaching artist, was a recent visitor to Lanigan Elementary School where he shared the history of the Native American tribes in Central New York with fourth graders at the school.

The Altmar-Parish-Williamstown Elementary School Holiday Concert entitled “A Holiday Celebration In Our New School,” provided a wonderful first holiday performance for students in UPK through 3rd grades at the elementary school on December 7.

November’s character education trait in the Fulton City School District was gratitude and students at Granby Elementary School selected as best representing that character trait were treated to a special “gratitude breakfast” with the principal recently.
