The event drew a large crowd to the school which brought all APW students to a single campus, two-building location. The curriculum night allowed students to show their family their new building, classrooms, playground, and attend a book fair which was held in the cafeteria.
David Cordone, Fulton Board of Education President was a recent visitor to Fairgrieve’s Morning Express program. Cordone, himself a former student at the school, talked to the students about the functions and responsibilities board of education members have in representing the citizens in their district.
The Hannibal X-C teams traveled to Rochester on Saturday to compete the 48th Annual McQuaid Invitational.
A holiday craft show will be held October 13 from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. in Hastings at the Parish VFW #8823, at 13 County Route 45, Hastings.
Andrew Litteer, a member of Boy Scout Troop 203, is working towards his for Eagle Scout Badge. He recently designed and installed with crew, a set of plank bridges at Great Bear Recreational Area. The bridges connect the historical Oswego River Canal Tow Path across a muddy section to an island area having a trail around its perimeter.
An early morning crash at West Bridge and First streets has sent four people to the hospital, including a pedestrian. Details of how the crash, which happened around 2:50 a.m. today (Sept. 28), are still being sorted out. The injuries are believed to not be life threatening.

The New York State Police in Oswego County conducted an underage drinking enforcement detail in Oswego County on Thursday. Several businesses were checked. One person was charged with a class B Misdemeanor, Unlawfully Dealing with a Child for allegedly completing the sale of an alcoholic beverage to a minor under the age of 21.
At a recent Scriba Town Board meeting, three Scriba residents were presented awards, the result of their quick response to an incident that occurred on Sandy Pond on August 5.
