Mildred E. Guernsey, 89 formerly of Fulton died Tuesday at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Syracuse.
Elsie M. Williams, 70, former N. Syracuse resident passed away at Stonehedge Health & Rehab Center, Chittenango on Wednesday October 5, 2011.
Wanda J. Halstead, 60; of Fulton died Saturday, October 1st at Oswego Hospital after a long illness.
Margaret, the author of the recently published book “What Happened When the Dish Ran Away with the Spoon”, illustrated by artist Jim Arnold, spoke about her experience as a pet-sitter which brought her to the animal stories discussed in her book.
Sandra Dowie is the featured artist for the month of October at the Oswego Public Library’s Art Gallery. A graduate of Augustana College in Sioux Falls, South Dakota with a degree in Art, and now a resident of Sterling, her favorite subject is horses. “I want to capture the horse’s personality and grace on my canvas. I seek to find the compassion that is ever present in his demeanor.”
