OSWEGO, NY – Kingsford Park Elementary School Principal Mary Volkomer participated in the Pizza Hut BOOK IT! project.

During “Young Readers Week” she had students write what it means to “Read to Lead.”

Several students were recognized.

Reading was a school-wide effort and the principal spent a large part of one day in the library reading or being joined by upper grades in reading to younger students.
