CAC Blue Ribbon Ride A Success

On behalf of the hundreds of children and their families that we serve at the Child Advocacy Center of Oswego County I would like to thank those caring businesses and individuals who helped to make our 8th Annual Blue Ribbon Ride Against Child Abuse such a success.

The event raised more than $13,000 to help support our efforts to provide vital services to children who have been sexually or physically abused.

From the beautiful weather for the ride, to the wonderful family picnic at Wheel-A-Way Motorsports in Fulton, it was a great day for all involved.

The success that we enjoyed would not be possible if not for support we received from the community and our event volunteers, including; Rick Gary, Ray Cruz, Bonnie Farmer, Stephanie Hammond, Paul LaBarge, Jenny Donohue, Sara Buske, Karen Perwitz, Fran Lanigan, Liz Herzog-McLean, Kerrie Standard-Phillips, Gail Godici, Diane Cooper-Currier, Deb Meyer, Betty Fadden, Kerrie Alguire, the staff of Kohl’s Department Store, Menter Ambulance Service, and other caring individuals who donated their time and effort.

I extend a special thank you to Deputy English, Officer Dempsey, Officer Curtis, the Oswego County Sheriff‘s Department, Fulton Police Department and Pulaski Police Department for escorting our ride and their assistance with traffic control; the River House Restaurant for hosting our stop in Pulaski, and of course our major sponsors for our 8th Blue Ribbon Ride Against Child Abuse, Mark Eagan and Staff at Wheel-A-Way Motorsports, Limp Lizard, Cayuga Security & Investigation, Inc., Mary Felasco Esq., Alliance Bank, NA, Gosch Supply, Nelson Law Firm and Pathfinder Bank

I am also very grateful for our dedicated staff, Stacy Austin-Root, Jennifer Bray, Jennifer Glowacki, Melanie Proper, Sandy Delano and Maureen McClain, and our board of directors; Karen Perwitz, Fran Lanigan, Liz Herzog-Mclean, Kerrie Standard-Phillips, Ray Cruz, Gail Godici, Diane Cooper-Currier, Deb Meyer, Betty Fadden and Pam Branshaw-Drumm, without whom none of this important work would be possible.

I am humbled by the community support we received and thankful for your recognition of the Child Advocacy Center and the work that we do to help Oswego County children who are victims of sexual or physical abuse.
