Fulton, NY – Brian Kocher of Oswego Printing, who donated his printing services to the Child Advocacy Center, gives a ticket to board member, Karen Perwitz for the CAC’s second annual Chicken Wing and Micro Brew Fest.
Scheduled for February 1, the fest, part of the annual Warm Up Oswego celebration, will be held from 6 to 10 p.m. at the new Lake Ontario Event and Conference Center, East First Street in Oswego, adjacent to the Best Western Hotel.
A number of Oswego County’s favorite eateries, including Cheap Seats Sports Bar & Grille, Larkin’s Restaurant, Canale’s Restaurant, Greene’s Ale House, Blowing Smoke BBQ, Lighthouse Lanes, and GS Steamers, will offer samples of their signature chicken wings as they compete for the CAC’s Blue Ribbon Award for the best chicken wing.
Eagle Beverage of Oswego will also provide samples of various micro-brews.
The event serves as a fundraiser for the CAC, a non-profit that works to protect and serve child victims of sexual and physical abuse in Oswego County.
In 2012 the CAC served more than 300 children and families in Oswego County.
A limited amount of pre-sale tickets are available for $15 and include a sampling of each restaurant’s signature chicken wing and each micro-brew.
Tickets will also be available at the door for $20.
