Palermo Elementary Students Learn About Dental Hygiene
Following a visit from dental hygienists Wendy Probst and Cammie Lyndaker, students in grades pre-kindergarten through four were able to share the following steps to a great smile: brush twice a day for two minutes, use fluoride toothpaste and mouthwash, floss, don’t snack too often and visit the dentist every six months.

Breaking barriers and finding their way through financial and other challenges, while excelling in the classroom, have earned five students Diversity Graduate Fellowships at SUNY Oswego. Shineman Foundation Awards First Round Grants for 2018
Eight not-for-profit organizations were awarded grants totaling $400,000 from the Richard S. Shineman Foundation in the first of three 2018 grant rounds at its March board meeting.
