Join the fun at a Celebration of Snow at the Amboy 4-H Environmental Education Center over winter break. Visit on February 20 from 10 a.m. to noon for this family-oriented program.
Princess Jasmine, Aladdin, Genie, Jafar and the people of Agrabah will visit Mexico Middle School when the Disney classic “Aladdin” comes to life in four upcoming performances. More than 50 students in grades five through eight have worked diligently on the musical production each week day for the past couple of months.
Forty-five G. Ray Bodley High School students proved they are committed to scholarship, leadership, character and service, all required components of the National Honor Society. For their academic and community efforts, the students were inducted into GRB’s Joseph Campolieta Chapter of the National Honor Society during a recent ceremony in the high school auditorium.
Meetings involve discussions about legislation on health, the environment, equality and immigration. The meetings are always open to the public. They are held in the Community Room of the Oswego Public Library at 5 p.m. every other Wednesday.
The last registration date for the 2018 Little League season is set for January 27 (8 a.m. – 6 p.m.). It will be held in the cafeteria area of the Fulton War Memorial.
There will be more to love about Valentine’s Day if you are one of the five “Early Bird” drawing winners, part of St. Luke’s annual “Bundle of Bucks” Charity Raffle. Five ticket numbers will be picked on February 14 from all the “Bundle of Bucks” tickets sold by this date. Each of the five ticket numbers selected will receive a cash prize of $100.
Assemblyman Will Barclay recently presented Fulton resident and Fulton Common Councilor Larry Macner with an Assembly Resolution honoring him for being selected as the 2017 Veteran of the Year by the Fulton Veterans Council.
Dean’s List students must achieve a minimum 3.25 grade-point average and also carry at least 14 credit hours.
