The Oswego Sunrise Rotary Club recently welcomed Kristin Earle, Development Director for the Central New York Chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, and Jenny Doane, Rotary Area 5 Assistant District Governor from the Baldwinsville club, where Earle is a member.

Children who turn five years old by Dec. 1 are invited to be enrolled in the program between the hours of 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. that day. Following April 27, kindergarten registration will be available through the Central Registrar.

The Regional Director for Central and Western New York, Lt. Commander Steve Adams came to the Oswego Division and completed the annual inspection of the unit. Each cadet is inspected from head to toe to ensure proper wearing of uniforms, name tags, patches insignias and to make sure they were following the USNSCC protocols.

Hundreds of young people throughout Oswego County are in need of safe, stable, permanent housing. You may not see them on the street because many spend their evenings “couch surfing,” drifting from friends and extended family members housing spend however many nights they can, wherever they can.
