Joseph Fiumara, of the Fulton CDA, made a presentation at the Fulton Lions club’s March meeting. He elaborated on waterfront development plans for Lake Neatahwanta, improvements to Recreation Park and progress made by the Fulton Footpaths organization.

The Emerson J. Dillon Middle School gymnasium was buzzing with excitement and tunes during its recent Music in Our Schools Month concert. Students in fifth through seventh grades performed nearly a dozen songs to an audience of friends, family and Phoenix Central School District staff.

Select students at the Center for Instruction, Technology and Innovation will soon be able to enjoy a tilapia and herbs entrée with a fresh salad for dinner, thanks to a new hydroponics program.

To help spread their messages, the Blue Team students each made public service announcements as a project-based learning activity for their English language arts unit on suffrage and women’s rights.

Oswego County residents can have their pets immunized against rabies March 22 at the Oswego County Highway Garage, 31 Schaad Drive, Scriba. The clinic will be conducted by the Oswego County Health Department from 6 to 8 p.m.

The SUNY Oswego planetarium will present “The Eclipse Is Coming!” at 7 p.m. each Sunday during April. A total solar eclipse on Aug. 21 might be visible from the United States, the first time for such an occurrence since 1979.
