There will still be the same number of performances available to the public in the new schedule; however, plays will now open on a Saturday evening with the addition of a Sunday matinee the first weekend. That will add an additional matinee to the schedule, a time when more people seek to come out to a Players’ production.

Plans are under way for the 36th Annual Memorial Day Salute event to be held May 27 at the Fulton Community Center. The theme for the celebration will be “Stars and Stripes Forever.” Larry Macner, Veteran of the Year, will serve as grand marshal of the Saturday parade.

Create your own unique, stylish, fabric bag with Riverside Artisans Cooperative member Kathy Fenlon on February 23 at 7 p.m. Fenlon is a noted fabric artist whose fashionable have been favorites at the co-op shop.

At a recent Fulton Sunrise Rotary Club meeting, Rotarian Linda Eagan introduced Hailey Thompson, a 21-year-old from Oswego who has become a leader and activist for youth among other causes.

The Sandy Creek Drama Department will present the musical “Annie” on March 10 and 11 at the Sandy Creek Middle/High School Auditorium.

The Oswego Public Library enjoyed English and Spanish readings of The Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle today (Feb. 18). After the readings, children made pipe cleaner caterpillars and other creatures with help from SUNY Oswego students.
