Oswego County Habitat for Humanity is currently renovating both the interior and exterior of a home in the city of Oswego, and is receiving assistance from students at the Center for Instruction, Technology and Innovation.
Since the beginning of the school year, the Auto Body Repair and Auto Technology programs at CiTi have been diligently working to bring life back into a rundown car, with the intent of transforming the vehicle into a replica police car.

The Corporation for National and Community Service recently published the honor roll for 2015; colleges and universities needed to apply for the recognition this year. SUNY Oswego has earned a spot on the broader honor roll every year since its inception in 2006.
With months of planning and scheduling complete, Amy Price Metz and her Performing Arts Committee have chosen four musicals, two plays, and a cabaret dessert theatre, and launched a new concert series and an Improv theatre troupe for late night entertainment.
Oswego County continues to celebrate its bicentennial with a series of heritage bus tours. The correct date of the fifth and final tour will be on Saturday, November 5.
Oswego County Opportunities recently recognized developmentally disabled resident counselors Michelle Frye (10 years) and Tammy Hastings (5 years) with longevity awards for their loyal service to OCO and its consumers.
All Oswego County government offices, including the solid waste transfer stations, will be closed Friday, Nov. 11.
