North Volney Methodist Church will have a scalloped potato and ham supper on October 20 at the church at the corners of routes 4 and 6 in the town of Volney. Serving will be from 4:30 to 6 p.m. and takeouts will be available.

The Oswego County Legislature’s Economic Development and Planning Committee recognized John DeHollander for his 38 years of service at its monthly meeting.

With the United Way of Greater Oswego County’s annual campaign well underway and workplace campaigns in full gear the United Way’s Campaign Cabinet has been busy formalizing their strategic plan to supplement the campaign and ensure that United Way’s impact is felt throughout all of Oswego County.

Count your Blessings Trivia Night will take place at the Elks Lodge on November 4. Teams of eight will compete against one another for a chance to become the first ever Count Your Blessings Trivia Night champs.

The play, adapted by Christopher Sergel from the 1960s TV series by Mel Brooks and Buck Henry, will run for three performances, October 28 and 29 on the stage of the Fulton Education Center, 167 S. Fourth St. Curtain times are 7:30 p.m. on the 28th with two performances at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. on the 29th.

The Fulton Sunrise Rotary will be serving its 12th Annual Italian Dinner on October 23 at the Fulton Polish Home, from noon until gone. Eat in or take out – pasta, salad, roll, dessert – $7.

The Kinlough Academy of Irish Dance will hold a chicken barbeque at Fulton’s Bullhead Point Pavilion, Route 3 West, Fulton on November 6. The hours will be from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
