The Pulaski Academy & Central School District is looking to make splash during the summer months by inviting students to dive into reading with members of the administrative team. In partnership with Pulaski Public Library, the district will organize several read aloud events throughout the summer.
The Oswego County Health Department offers a variety of services to all residents of Oswego County, including preventive health services, certified hospice, and a maternal and child health program.
On July 17, a pancake breakfast to help Children’s Charities will be held at Lake City Masonic Lodge No. 127 at 765 E. Seneca St. Serving will be from 8 a.m. until noon.
Kerrie Phillips of the Fulton Teachers Association presented Karrie Damn, executive director of the Child Advocacy Center of Oswego County with a donation of $350. The money was raised through faculty and staff donations from those that participated in Jeans Day at all five Fulton schools.
Volunteers are a vital part of a successful Harborfest. Each year, dozens of dedicated volunteers come together in various positions to ensure that the festival runs smoothly. To show its gratitude for these incredible people, Harborfest is announcing a bike giveaway shortly preceding this upcoming festival.

Explore and experience God’s welcoming love at the Family Fun Day. The fun begins at 11 a.m. on August 14 at Amboy Center UMC at 1 State Route 183 in Amboy.
Only a few weeks remain before the Oswego YMCA’s 28th annual Harborfest 5k Run/Walk and 10k Run on July 30. The Oswego YMCA is excited to have Oswego Health as the headlining sponsor for this year’s event.
The annual Children’s Gala will be taking place on July 26 at 6 p.m. in Breitbeck Park. The gala this year has a special birthday theme celebrating Oswego County’s bicentennial.
Cornell Cooperative Extension of Oswego County is pleased to once again offer basket weaving at the Amboy 4-H Environmental Education Center. On August 19 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Linda Scherz Allen will lead a hands-on workshop in miniature basket weaving as part of the center’s Nature Inspires series.
