Oswego City-County Youth Bureau Accepting Reservations for Camp Facilities

The Oswego City-County Youth Bureau is taking reservations for Camp Hollis and Camp Zerbe for the 2015 season. Camp Hollis and Camp Zerbe are owned by Oswego County and operated by the Oswego City-County Youth Bureau. The facilities are available May through October for use by families, wedding parties, youth groups, clubs, school groups and other organizations.

Enjoy A Spaghetti Supper and Movie At First United Church

On October 18, First United Church of Fulton, 33 S. Third St., will offer a community spaghetti dinner from 5 p.m. until sold out. The menu will include: salad, spaghetti, meatballs, dinner roll, dessert, and hot and cold drinks. The adult cost is $8. Children under 12 are $6. Money raised will go toward meeting the needs of the church kitchen.

Sculptor to offer sizzling demonstration during molten-iron pour

A sculptor’s iron pour will light up the night at SUNY Oswego, starting at 6 p.m. Oct. 16. Artist Edward Kelley of Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa — one of six sculptors whose work was chosen for a new outdoor exhibition at the college — will demonstrate the fiery skill used by sculptors working with ferrous metals.
