SUNY Oswego’s annual Hart Global Awareness Conference on Nov. 8 and 9, will feature two keynote speakers, one each night.
Members of The Oswego Fire Department met with staff of Oswego County OB/GYN wearing their shirts in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Both groups wore their respective shirts for the month and the fire department presented shirts bearing the Oswego Fire Department logo to Raj Mahajan MD and Judith DiMarco F.N.P.
The executive board of the constable association stated that the people of Hannibal already have shown their support of his abilities by electing Beckwith to the Hannibal Town Council (where Beckwith has served since 2012).

Lakeside Artisans, 191 W. First St., will hold an open house on November 1 from 5 to 7 p.m. An introduction of new members of the artists’ cooperative to the community will take place. The artisans will also unveil their latest creative efforts at the event.
Recognizing Oswego County is pleased to announce that Brian Katzman has been selected as community champion for October. Each month Recognizing Oswego County uses this recognition effort as a platform for emphasizing the wonderful work that is happening in Oswego County to promote the health and wellness of children, families and adults.
She will assist the program in a number of areas including updating participating families on the program’s events, facilitating group sessions, and coordinating correspondence between families and program staff.
Oswego Hospital will host a pre-Halloween American Red Cross blood drive from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. October 30 in the healthcare facility’s lower level conference room. Members of the public and hospital employees are encouraged to donate a pint of blood during the drive.
