The Friends of the Oswego Library respectfully asks the citizens of the Oswego City School District to support the Oswego S.D. Public Library by visiting their polling locations on May 21 and vote yes for the levy that’s has been placed on the ballot. This levy is required to operate and fund the Oswego S.D. Public library.
CNY Arts Center announces its annual Arts Festival planned for June 8. The event brings artists and crafters together with handmade original art on display for show and sale along with food vendors Tavern on the Lock and Treat Me Sweet Desserts, art projects including painting and fabric art, and a grand prize for festival attendees.

Play On! is a play about an amateur play group who are coming up to opening night with things less than half done. The play opens on Thursday and Friday at 7:30 p.m. in the OHS theater. Admission is $5 at the door.

Motorcycle and 5K run registration is now available for the annual summer ARISE & Ride for Ramps event. The event will take place on June 8 at Fort Ontario. In addition to the 5K run and motorcycle ride, there will also be a chicken BBQ, Rudy’s Lakeside, kids’ bike ride around the Fort, music, food, and fun family activities.
