On May 21, Mexico Academy and Central School District voters will decide on a $21,090,076 capital project referendum – a plan to address health and safety improvements at the district’s five school buildings, bus garage, and athletic complex.
On May 8 at 7 p.m., Chad Miller, an accomplished fiddler and a member of the NYS Old-Time Fiddler’s Association in Osceola, will perform a free concert of Old-Time Fiddle Music at the Gazebo Park area located at the four corners in Parish.

An ELA Pep Rally, including Mr. Buc along with cheerleaders, prepped the Kingsford Park Elementary third, fourth, fifth and sixth grade students for state testing. Cheers were loud and enthusiasm high as student testing approached.
Internationally known trombonist and composer Michael Davis, who has toured with the Rolling Stones, Frank Sinatra and other famous musicians, will appear in concert on May 1 at SUNY Oswego. Davis will perform with the Oswego Jazz Project at 7:30 p.m. in the Sheldon Hall ballroom in the season finale for the college’s Ke-nekt Chamber Music Series.
