The CNY Arts Center is proud to announce its next series of classes for writers. Introduction to Writing is designed for beginners and will explore writing in all genres, including fiction, memoir and poetry.
Rep. Dan Maffei is encouraging local high school students to participate in this year’s Congressional Art Competition. The winning artist from New York’s 24th Congressional District will have his or her artwork displayed at the U.S. Capitol for one year and will be recognized both in the district and at an awards ceremony in Washington, DC.

Come to the Lake Ontario Conference and Event Center on East First Street in Oswego to hear compelling stories about the war along the New York-Canadian border from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, April 6 and from 9 a.m. to noon on Sunday, April 7.
They will be serving ziti and meatballs, tossed salad, and bread. Desserts and beverages will be provided by members of the advisory board. The dinner will be at the Salvation Army Citadel, 73 W. Second St., Oswego.
