Oswego County STOP-DWI Coordinator Robert Lighthall announced today that Oswego County police agencies will participate in a special enforcement effort to crackdown on impaired driving. The statewide STOP-DWI Crackdown efforts start on March 15 and will end on March 18.

The Salvation Army Oswego County Corps, 73 W. Second St., will host a brigade of cadets (students) from The Salvation Army School for Officer Training (seminary). The cadets are young men and women who are in school learning and training to become Salvation Army officers (pastors).

My cat, Nelly, is overweight and not in the best of health (not for reasons related to her weight, so don’t try to make me feel guilty about that) but as a result she is not very good at grooming herself. In fact, she is sort of grungy. I am thinking she would feel better, and so would I, if I could give her a bath.
The Minetto Elementary School physical education teachers Don Fronk and Julie Tubolino have created a unique experience with the annual country themed “Hoe Down” event. Students performed a line dance, and competed in games such as the “Pony Express,” “The Grub Run” and even a sack race.
