Beginning Monday, July 2 and ending Friday, Aug. 31, offices will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Department of Motor Vehicles offices in Oswego, Fulton and Pulaski will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. during July and August.

Members of the United Way of Greater Oswego County’s Children and Family Services Community Investment Panel visited the Oswego YMCA to learn about the United Way funded programs that the YMCA offers and how they benefit those who access the programs.

Summer School in the Oswego City School District will be offered July 9  through Aug. 15. Regents examinations will be on Aug. 6 and 17.

Ah, the end of the school year. As a mother, late June brings back memories of antsy kids who are ready to get out of the classroom, and away from the homework, studying and tests.

Catholic Charities of Oswego County’s CYO program recently hosted a Pajama Party for CYO participants. The children enjoyed breakfast and a movie.

SAF is the domestic violence and rape crisis program for Oswego County and has provided crisis, supportive, advocacy and educational services throughout Oswego County for more than 30 years.

The following students have been selected for inclusion on the Dean’s List for academic achievement during the spring semester at St. Lawrence University in Canton.

To earn this distinction, the team’s academic average must be 90% or higher during the season.
