Sara Ayala of New Hartford was recently elected as the new chair for the Girl Scouts of NYPENN Pathways Board of Directors. GSNYPENN serves girls in 26 counties of New York and Pennsylvania.

A chicken dinner barbecue and benefit are planned from 1-6 p.m.on August 26 in memory of Maurine “Moe” Caprin. Maurine was a beloved member of the family who passed away suddenly on Friday, June 15, from a severe asthma attack.
