The graduates were honored at the ceremony and recognized for their educational achievements before a large crown of family, friends, guardians, OCB staff members and school district administration.

The new employees, who will join the OCO’s staff of human services professionals, recently completed the agency’s orientation process and will begin to serve consumers in their respective programs.

SUNY Oswego Metro Center in Syracuse will offer preparation for the Graduate Record Examination on two pairs of Saturdays in July and August. Instructor Dan Bacich will offer a GRE “cram course” in verbal and analytical writing skills from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. July 7 and 14.

Assemblyman Will Barclay said Tuesday that he supports legislation that would help identify children with early-stage eating disorders. These bills would also establish an eating disorders awareness and prevention program within the Department of Health, similar to what other states have created.

The Fulton Medical Center’s mammography service has been awarded a three-year term of accreditation in mammography following a recent review by the American College of Radiology. Mammography is a specific type of imaging test that uses a low-dose x-ray system to examine breasts.
