“Gutterballs,” an Oz Roller Girls fundraiser at sponsor Lighthouse Lanes on March 23, will offer cosmic bowling and food, chances to win cash and meet the local rollergirls.
“In honor of our silver anniversary, this year’s auction is featuring some of the finest items ever up for bid. Donors have been very generous,” said Peg McKinstry, board trustee and co-chair of the event. “In honor of our milestone there will be some sterling and plated silver pieces offered, too.”

The Oswego High School National Honor Society is supplying financial and physical support to the “Run for Dennis” run and walk in memory of Dennis Pacheco who passed away in 2011. Proceeds will benefit bladder cancer advocacy and research.
The students and staff raised more than $2,000. It will help defray the cost of his extensive medical bills and costs associated with his extended hospital stay.
