Marcella Slater is the featured artist for the month of November at the Lakeside Artisans Cooperative gallery in the Canal Commons on West First Street. There will be a reception for her on Nov. 12 from 2 – 6 p.m. where you can meet the artist and enjoy refreshments.
More than 50 Cayuga Community College students, faculty, and staff members donned purple attire on October 19 to show support for victims of domestic violence.

A child at Oswego Head Start blows a bubble using a lid to a paint cup. Children gathered items from the classroom and then tested whether they did or didn’t work well to make bubbles.
The two are working together to build a table with the waffle blocks. Children participate in cooperative activities to build essential social skills.
Students were recognized for being referral free and being in school 90% or more. Gift bags of new school supplies were given as recognition.
The purpose of the annual meeting is to adopt legislative policy resolutions, approve financial statements and to elect members of the Counties’ board of directors for the 2011 – 2012 year.
