Seven Oswego High School student-athletes officially announced their intent to continue their academics and sports activities during National Letter of Intent signing at OHS on Wednesday. Athletic Director Scott Sugar welcomed students, parents, grandparents, siblings, teachers, coaches, administrators and members of the Board of Education to the signing ceremony.

Established by the National Organization of State Offices of Rural Health (NOSORH), National Rural Health Day, Nov. 17, showcases rural America; increases awareness of rural health-related issues; and promotes the efforts of NOSORH, State Offices of Rural Health and others in addressing those issues.
Last year Catholic Charities of Oswego County provided Christmas dinners, complete with turkey and all the fixings, to more than 360 hungry families in Oswego County. Additionally, we provided Christmas presents to more than 620 children. We would not have been able to do that if not for the generous donations that we received from caring community members.
Recently the Walker family of Oswego donated $200 to the Frederick Leighton PBIS effort. Principal Julie Burger accepted the check from Lee Walker.
