With the recent passing of musician Amy Winehouse, the Curse of 27, Forever 27, the 27 Club (names for a group of influential musicians who all died at the age of 27) has resurfaced.
On Tuesday, November 1, SUNY Oswego’s Office of Business and Community Relations (OBCR) and the Women’s Network for Entrepreneurial Training (WNET) will gather women from across New York State for “Connections,” a day-long conference to be held at The American Foundry, near the SUNY Oswego campus, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
The Farm has indoor and outdoor horseback riding, accessible cart driving, a fishing pond with an accessible dock, high- and low-ropes courses, and a 7/8-mile paved path for walking and cycling of all kinds. In the summer, the Farm runs week-long summer day camps for children with and without disabilities.
American Volkssport Association (AVA) Northeast Regional Director Doug Reynolds will help inaugurate the first-ever non-competitive Great Lakes Seaway Trail VolksWalk Saturday, September 24, 2011 in Sackets Harbor, NY. Reynolds will be at the registration and welcome booth at the Great Lakes Seaway Trail Discovery Center, 401 W. Main Street, from 8:30am-1:30pm.
