Fulton Sunrise Rotarians Meet Environmental Worker

At a recent Sunrise Rotary meeting, Rotarian Ro Kemmis, left, introduced Pamela Natoli.  Pam is employed by “Shaw Environmental & Infrastructure” out of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She is a   Compliance Specialist whose primary work is environmental compliance audits and most recently soil remediation. She has been working with the company since 2007. Oswego Lions Club Cow Chip Bingo, Volleyball Tournament Set

Oswego Lions Club will hold co-ed volleyball tournament Sept. 10 at Cheap Seats. Pictured from left bottom are Lion Mike Henderson, Lion Becky O'Kane, Lion Karen Hammond, and above Lion Beverly Spuhler.

The Oswego Lions Club will hold its sixth annual “Cow Chip Bingo” fundraiser Sept. 10 at Cheap Seats Sports Bar & Grille. New to the event this year will be a co-ed volleyball tournament scheduled from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., rain or shine.

Catholic Charities’ Thrift Store Helps Families Get Ready To Go Back To School

Catholic Charities of Oswego County is raising money for its food pantry by holding an inventory reduction event at its thrift store now through Aug. 31. Displaying some of the children’s clothing available are from left: Maureen McClain of Experience Works; AmeriCorps member, Marae MacEwen; emergency services volunteer, Kathleen Hutchinson; emergency services assistant, Dana Howell; and director of Catholic Charities Emergency Services Program, Helen Hoefer.

In an effort to raise money for its food pantry, Catholic Charities’ Thrift Store has reduced prices on almost everything in stock.
