Novelis United Way Campaign Under Way

Lois Luber, resource development director with United Way of Greater Oswego County recently met with Novelis Oswego Works’ internal United Way campaign team to discuss team’s efforts. The Novelis team got its campaign off to a fast start and are well on the way to reaching their goal. From left are: Cindy Finnegan, Luber, Carol Dillabough, Tim Foster, Thomas Ware, Joyce Pritchard, Cheryl Greer, Bree Simoneau and Dick Delaney.To ensure the success of their in-house campaign for the United Way of Greater Oswego County, they decided to get off to an early start and have planned a number of unique incentives.

OCO Afterschool Program Adds Web Presence

Anne Stever, an academic staff member with Oswego County Opportunities’ Rural Afterschool Program (RASP), helps APW student, Brittney Czyzs locate the RASP information that is now accessible from the APW School District website. Through a link on the APW website’s extra curricular activities page students, parents and academic staff now have easy access to everything they need to know about OCO’s Rural Afterschool Program from times available to a complete schedule for the week. The APW School District website can be found at www.apw.cnyric.orgFor students and parents in the APW school district, it is now easier than ever to learn about the latest happenings with Oswego County Opportunities’ Rural Afterschool Program (RASP).  Thanks to a collaboration with APW middle school and Oswego County BOCES, OCO’s RASP now has a presence on the APW website.
