Oswego County Airport to Close for Reconstruction Project Oct. 4

The Oswego County Airport will be closed to all air traffic for about a week, beginning Monday, Oct. 4. The county will mill, resurface and groove the intersection of runways 6 â€“ 24 and 15 â€“ 33. Depending on the weather, the project is expected to take from five to seven days.

Special Archives Day Coming Up

Several of the historical organizations in Oswego County will participate in this yearâ€™s Archives Day by having their facilities open for tours. The event will occur on Saturday, October 23, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Special historical treasures will be on display at all of the facilities, so everyone is encouraged to take a wonderful â€œhistory tripâ€ around the county on that day!
