Oswego County Opportunities, the community action agency for Oswego County, will hold its annual Giving Thanks fundraiser on November 1 at the Lake Ontario Convention, Event and Conference Center in Oswego.

The Buffalo office of the National Weather Service will conduct a Winter SKYWARN spotter training seminar at the Oswego County Emergency Management Office at 200 N. Second St., on Tuesday, October 15 at 6:30 p.m.

A regular board of education meeting will be held October 1 at 5 p.m.
