If you or your musical group have ever appeared at Oswego Harborfest or you desire to participate in one of the largest admission free music festivals in the Northeast applications are now available.

In the late 1960s the Hannibal Community House, as it was called at the time, was suddenly condemned because of a structural issue with its north wall.

Signups for Mexico Girls Youth Basketball will take place 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Mexico Middle School gym.

The show has resembled a humorous love letter to theater, as it follows a community theater production of “Murder Most Foul,” where an inexperienced playwright has agreed to let the company perform the show for no charge.

Friday, Oct. 11, is DIRTcar Day in Oswego County. The organizers of NAPA Super DIRT Week have planned special deals at the Oswego Speedway track.

Marie Lorenz’s “Travels, 2010-2019,” a multimedia exhibition exploring waterways, will open Oct. 18, in SUNY Oswego’s Tyler Art Gallery. An opening reception with the artist in attendance, free and open to the public, will take place from 5 to 7 p.m. Oct. 25

The event will help raise funds to support the program’s needs, such as field costs, insurance fees, referee fees, coach training, helmet reconditioning, scholarships, uniforms, equipment and any other costs incurred to run the organization.

The Oswego County Health Department offers a variety of services to all residents of Oswego County, including preventive health services, certified hospice, and a maternal and child health program.
