With Earth Day, Oswego County Earth Week and Canal Clean Sweep coming up, there are several events scheduled.

At a recent Fulton Sunrise Rotary meeting, Rotarian Carol Vescio introduced Dr. Marissa Hanlon, a Physical Therapist at Performance Physical Therapy in Fulton.

An afternoon of fun, fantastic door prize give-a-ways, food and beverages, live music by local favorites “Jimmy D and The Jury” and the big cash prize raffle drawings are part of this year’s “Bundle of Bucks” Charity Raffle Party.

A Student Performance Night this week at Cayuga Community College’s Fulton Campus will illustrate the diverse artistic talents of the college’s students.

SUNY Oswego and community choral singers will perform Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s “Requiem” in a free concert, open to the public at Saturday’s spring appearance of the Oswego Festival Chorus.

The event, similar to the Special Olympics, provides an opportunity for students with disabilities to participate in a variety of athletic events. Exceptional student-athletes representing all nine school districts in Oswego County, as well as the Center for Instruction, Technology & Innovation, will compete in events such as adapted races, long jump, distance runs and shot put.

The Oswego Players’ 81st season of continuous live community theater opens April 26 in the Frances Marion Brown Theater, Civic Arts Center, Oswego with the hilarious adult comedy, “What the Rabbi Saw.”

CNY Community Arts Center is setting the table for a spaghetti dinner fundraiser to support the next stage production, Beauty and the Beast, Jr., set to open next month.
