The S.S. American sets sail for Europe with a debutante, an English lord, a lovelorn Wall Street agent, a gangster and his accomplice in Cole Porter’s ‘Anything Goes.’

Fairgrieve Elementary School recently celebrated nearly 100 students for their academic achievement throughout the second marking period.

The 32nd annual Oswego Harborfest is still looking for commercial, marketing and arts and craft vendors to showcase their merchandise to the nearly 75,000 people who attend the free-admission music festival that will take place the last full weekend in July.

The next informational meeting will be April 13, from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Oswego County Department of Social Services, 100 Spring St., Mexico.

Anything Goes is filled with adventure, love – and gambling. Anything Goes features more than 60 students in the cast, crew and orchestra.

It’s been almost 40 years since the Hannibal Community Center opened its doors to the public.The building houses the Hannibal Free Library; The Senior Nutrition Site and Elderberries, Hannibal’s senior citizens group; and the Hannibal Historical Society.

When the Fulton City School District hosts the All-County Orchestra Festival later this month, some of Fulton’s youngest string instrumentalists will be featured in ensembles.
