With a small office of only three full-time employees, the United Way of Greater Oswego County relies on countless community volunteers to help meet the mission of ending hunger, building successful youth and ensuring wellness across the county.

Le Moyne College has named several December 2018 graduates to its Fall 2018 Dean’s List.To make the list, students must achieve a GPA of 3.5 or above.

“Tribute, Honor, Sacrifice” will be the theme reflected during the celebration and parade for 2019 and our community will be honoring Veteran of the Year, Garry Visconti.

Selection for this award is based on completing and passing all assigned courses with no grade below a “C” and attaining an academic average of at least 3.4 for courses taken in the fall of 2018.

The funding will allow schools to provide students with both educational programs and support systems.

The Phoenix Central School District will go “under the sea” during its spring musical, as members of the high school’s drama club present Disney’s “The Little Mermaid,” through special arrangement with Music Theatre International.

The Oswego City School District has announced that applications are now available for its universal pre-kindergarten program.

Several Granby Elementary School students celebrated the 100th day of the 2018-19 school year by dressing up as if they were a centenarian.
