Several area students completed their graduate studies in fall 2018 at SUNY Oswego. Commencement, with faculty in full academic regalia, took place in December.

Students Achieve Dean’s List at SUNY Delhi

The following students have been cited for academic achievement for the Fall 2018 semester by achieving the Dean’s List at SUNY Delhi. To qualify for the Dean’s List, students must have an academic average of 3.50 or higher within the semester.

He spoke about various projects for 2019 in the city including the Menter Ambulance expansion, the Michaud renovation into an assisted living home, the remodeling of Broadways Cleaners into commercial space and apartments, the purchasing of Birdseye by Martin Foods and the

The Oswego City-County Youth Bureau and the Oswego Kiwanis Club will host a Valentine Paint and Pizza Day at noon Feb. 10 for children ages 3 to 13. The event will take place at Bridie Manor, 1830 Bridie Square, Oswego.

Lizette Alvarado of SUNY Oswego is one of 14 leaders from across the state recently named to the second-ever class of fellows at SUNY’s Hispanic Leadership Institute by New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo.

OFA Staff Offers Assistance on HEAP Applications

The staff of the Oswego County Office for the Aging will schedule appointments at locations around Oswego County in February to help seniors apply for assistance paying their fuel bill through the Home Energy Assistance Program.

Oswego School Board To Meet

On February 5 the Oswego Board of Education will conduct an Audit Committee meeting at 4 p.m. At 4:30 p.m. the board of education will move to an executive session then to a regular session at 5 p.m.
