Karrie Damm, executive director of the Child Advocacy Center of Oswego County announced that the agency recently welcomed five new members to its board of directors.

Students in the Center for Instruction, Technology and Innovation’s work-study program created and delivered “Blizzard Bags” to Oswego County Opportunities for its Meals on Wheels program.

“Learn and Lunch” features a half hour educational program followed by a free lunch that includes soup, salad and dessert served in their Grand Dining Room.

Two years ago, Denise Smith lost her son, Ron, when he passed away following an illness. At the time, Ron worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant at St. Luke Health Services where residents and fellow staff members alike had a deep affection for him.

Mrs. Claus and the elves made a surprise visit to Morningstar Residential Care Center to check in on the residents and treat them to a special Christmas breakfast.
