A packed agenda of presentations Oct. 25 and 26 will greet an estimated 500 educators teaching a wide variety of disciplines in kindergarten through 12th grade. They annually come from around New York state to find out the latest developments in technology education and to network with other educators and professionals.

An idea for mandate relief from St. Lawrence County Legislator Board of Legislators Chairman Kevin Acres, has officially become New York State law.

The Center for Instruction, Technology and Innovation hosted a celebration of Manufacturing Day on Friday (Oct. 5). The event was geared for junior and high school students.

On October 6 the Oswego Players and Art Association of Oswego will host local UFO expert Keith Conroy, who will present a program concerning his study of such phenomena.

SUNY Oswego’s Waterman Theatre will host Oswego Opera’s 40th anniversary production, “Die Fledermaus” — an operetta with a funny storyline and lively melodies — sung in English on Oct. 13 and 14.
