Birdlebough High School senior Olivia Ripley’s dedication to her music studies recently garnered statewide recognition. She earned a perfect score on both her trumpet and voice auditions at last spring’s New York State School Music Association’s Solo Festival, and recently earned a spot in this year’s NYSSMA All-Conference Symphonic Band.

This is sweet River, a pretty Calico, about two years old. She loves head scratches, everything she can rub up against, and pick up cuddles. River has a limp; she had endured an injury early this year and her leg healed incorrectly before she came to us. She is not in any pain and is able to use her leg to help her balance so it’s not a big deal.

So much so, district officials were presented with a proclamation by Fulton Mayor Ronald Woodward Sr. and the Fulton Common Council declaring September 2018 as Attendance Awareness Month and the free School Attendance Kickoff Celebration will be held on Sunday, September 16.
