The Mount Adnah Preservation Foundation, Inc., constructed a Memorial Brick Walkway at the site of the former Case Memorial Chapel in Mount Adnah Cemetery in 2009. There are now more than 295 inscribed bricks located in this memorial walkway, with room for several hundred more.

Singer-songwriter Maria De Angelis has been named the Professor Robert H. Brunell Visiting Scholar at Cayuga Community College for the Fall 2018 semester, and the talented jazz vocalist will also perform at Cayuga’s Auburn Campus this month.

CHARTA, Hope Springs, Oz Angling, and Wired Telecom have been selected as the four finalists for the 2018 Next Great Idea Oswego County Business Plan Competition- it was announced by Austin Wheelock, Chair of the NGI steering committee. On September 14, each finalist will give a 20-minute presentation on their business plan in-person to the panel of judges.

The Salmon River International Sport Fishing Museum hosts a “Celebrate Fishing” Show and Sale from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 6. Volunteers and people interested in all aspects of fishing are welcome to participate.

Ray Bodley High School Theater Department on September 28 at 7:30 p.m. The school is located at 6 William Gillard Drive Fulton. Come out for a one-of-a-kind Vegas style evening with top talent for a great cause.

Broomsticks lined the entryway, welcoming Fulton City School District’s ninth graders into the magical place of G. Ray Bodley High School. They were welcomed by GRB Principal Donna Parkhurst, who played to the Harry Potter-themed day by wearing a wizard’s hat and utilizing a wand, with one clear message: the high school is a warm, fun place where they will achieve their best with a lot of hard work and perseverance.

Near silence and bare hallways accompanied Oswego High School’s ninth graders during their opening day of the 2018-19 school year.

Fulton City School District staff members were rallied by Superintendent Brian Pulvino during the 2018-19 opening day events to carry their energy, passion and determination throughout the school year.

The Cody Volunteer Fire Department will hold its first “Famous Chicken Barbecue” of the fall season on September 16 at its Wilcox Road Fire Station, located off NYS Route 48, south of Fulton. Serving will begin at 11:30 a.m. and continue until sold out.
