Split into teams of 16, the fourth graders held designated jobs related to preparation, measurements, data analytics and leadership as they worked toward assembling the low-friction vehicles.

Fulton Community School Summer School will be offered from 9 a.m. to noon July 9 to Aug. 3 at the Fulton Junior High School. The theme this year is “Sweet History, Rich Future,” focusing on the history of chocolate locally and around the world.

Degree-seeking undergraduate students are eligible for Rochester Institute of Technology’s Dean’s List if their term GPA is greater than or equal to 3.400; they do not have any grades of “Incomplete”, “D” or “F”; and they have registered for, and completed, at least 12 credit hours.

This year’s summer concert series begins Thursday June 28, at Bullhead Point with the Fulton Community Band playing at Bullhead Point Pavilion beginning at 7 p.m. Friday, June 29, the Canal Landing Gazebo will be the backdrop for the band Streamline beginning at 6 p.m.
