The students celebrated together during a morning and afternoon Lanigan UPK graduation ceremony at the Fulton YMCA, where teachers Kelly Maliszewski and Melody Morrison expressed their appreciation for each student.
The Mexico High School Class of 2018 seniors are leaving the Mexico Academy & Central School District with memories, a plan for their futures and scholarships to ease any financial burden.

Mexico High School recently recognized student athletic achievement during their annual Block M Awards. Seventeen sports teams at Mexico were recognized as scholar athlete teams this year, meaning that collectively they achieved a grade point average of 90 or above.

The Riverside Artisans cooperative will celebrate its first anniversary June 16 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. with a party in its shop at 191 W. First St. The celebration will feature refreshments, demonstrations by the artists, and drawings for examples of their work.
