Oswego High Hosts Snowflake Spectacular Winter Guard Show Saturday
This Saturday, February 18, beginning at 5 p.m. the color and excitement of winter guard will fill the Powers Gymnasium at Frederick Leighton Elementary School. There will be 14 guards in competition as the Oswego High School Visual Ensemble presents “Snowflake Spectacular.”
Chef Geno and the student members of Quirk’s Players from G. Ray Bodley High School will be sponsoring a spaghetti dinner on February 21 from 4:30 – 7:30 p.m. at the Fulton Polish Home.
Well-known Oswego Players’ director, Inez Manor Parker, is readying her cast for the season’s opener of Agatha Christie’s “Witness for the Prosecution.”
The travails and triumphs of Edward Austin Sheldon, who founded what is now known as SUNY Oswego, will come to life when a famous alumna and four students present excerpts of his autobiography, letters and favorite music.
The Oswego Film Group, in collaboration with SUNY Oswego’s Economics Department, presents a free screening of Margin Call on Feb. 20 at 7 p.m. in the auditorium of the college’s Campus Center.
The Oswego High School Faust Theatre for the Performing Arts stage will be alive with the “Sound of Music” as the students present the annual musical on Friday and Saturday. Curtain time will be at 7:30 p.m.
