‘Crazy For You’ Shaping Up – OHS Production Just Weeks Away

The music of George Gershwin and lyric of Ira Gershwin highlight this year’s production which will be held at Oswego High School’s Ralph Faust Theatre of the Performing Arts on Feb. 5-6 at 7:30 p.m.

More than 4,000 snowmobile racers, owners and spectators are expected to take part in the tenth annual Great Eastern Whiteout Friday, Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 12, 13, and 14 at the Fulton War Memorial on NYS Route 3. The vintage snowmobile show and races are hosted by the Fulton Area Snowmobile Travelers (FAST).

Scrolls From India Exhibition Coming to SUNY Oswego’s Tyler Art Gallery

"Picture Scrolls from India: Bengali Narrative Paintings" will open Friday, Jan. 29, in SUNY Oswego's Tyler Art Gallery. The scrolls come from the personal collection of Dr. Geraldine Forbes, a distinguished teaching professor of history at SUNY Oswego and a renowned scholar on India. Shown is a single panel from the multi-panel tempera-on-paper scroll "Sita Haran (Abduction of Sita)" from West Bengal. The scrolls come from the personal collection of Dr. Geraldine Forbes, a distinguished teaching professor of history at SUNY Oswego and a renowned scholar on India. Forbes will give a gallery talk at 5:30 p.m. Jan. 29. The event is part of the welcoming reception, free and open to the public, from 5 to 7 p.m.
