Oswego Health Makes SSO Holiday Pops Tickets Available

Tickets are still available for Oswego Health’s annual Syracuse Symphony Orchestra Holiday Pops Concert to be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, December 20 at the Oswego High School. Concert tickets are available at the Fulton and Oswego Price Chopper stores, Alliance Bank, HSBC, Key Bank, the Oswego YMCA, Pathfinder Bank and by calling Oswego Health’s community development office at 349-5500.

“December Excitement” at the H. Lee White Marine Museum

<p>A sneak peek at the temporary exhibit of nautical artwork, by local artist Tim Ames. The exhibit is just one part of the H. Lee White Marine Museum's "December Excitement."</p>The H. Lee White Marine Museum, which is located at the end of Oswego’s West First Street Pier, is the place to be this month as they once again present “December Excitement.” Hours of operation are 1-5pm daily until the 23rd, and the Museum’s ‘Treasure Chest” gift shop is open to browse for free during those hours.

The Oswego Children’s Theater to Present a Second Weekend of “Babes in Toyland”

" I Can't Do the Sum" The Oswego Children's Theater Presents a second weekend of the holiday Classic "Babes in Toyland" December 11 and 12 at St. Mary's Church Hall. Photo by Mark White.“Babes in Toyland” was written by the famous Victor Herbert with Lyrics by Glenn McDonough. The music includes such favorites as “Toy Land”, “I Can’t Do the Sum”, “Never mind Bo Peep” and “The March of the Wooden Soldiers”. The script for the Production was adapted for the modern stage by Lyndsie Jones and Wayne and Kelly Mosher.

The Oswego Children’s Theater’s “Babes in Toyland” Opens Friday at St Mary’s

The Oswego Children’s Theaters final production of the year will bring back memories of childhood, as they Present “Babes in Toyland”, with music Victor Herbert and script and book by Glenn MacDonough. “Babes in Toyland” Is perhaps best remembered as the basis for the classic Laurel and Hardy film “March of the Wooden Soldiers” which was a holiday staple for many years.
