Rodeo Bowl Headed For Final Roundup

Only a few openings remain for bowling teams to participate in Oswego County Opportunities’ Rodeo Bowl to be held April 18, at Lakeview Lanes from noon to 6 p.m. Featuring a western theme, OCO’s Rodeo Bowl promises rip-roaring fun for all ages. Teams of five can still register for the second flight of bowling that afternoon, from 3 to 5:30 p.m.

SUNY Oswego National Honor Society Students Make A Difference at St. Luke

Members of the Omicron Delta Kappa National Leadership Honor Society from SUNY Oswego visited residents at St. Luke Health Services as part of ODK’s National Service Day activities. National Honor Society members visited with residents, shared in conversation and some laughs, while taking part in a group activity.

Oswego City School District Aids Pinwheels for Prevention

In recognition of Child Abuse Prevention Month the Oswego City School District has partnered with the Child Advocacy Center of Oswego County to help raise awareness of child abuse in Oswego. For the third consecutive year home and school associations and student councils have come together to be a part of the CAC’s Pinwheels for Prevention program.

Notary Training Set For SUNY Oswego Phoenix Center

SUNY Oswego’s Division of Extended Learning will host a three and a half hour workshop for people interested in preparing for New York state’s notary public test. SUNY Oswego Phoenix Center offers the session several times each year; spring dates are April 29, from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., and June 16, from 6 to 9:30 p.m. at the center in the Oswego County Industrial Park adjacent to State Route 481 in Phoenix.
