To be held April 5 from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Oswego Elks Lodge, corner of West Fifth and Bridge streets, the Oswego Community Christian School’s seventh annual auction fundraiser will feature a silent auction from 1 to 2:30 p.m. followed by a live auction with auctioneer Corrina Pauldine of the McEwen Auction Company from 2:30 to 4 p.m.
On March 16 from 8 a.m. – noon there will be an all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet for Cub Scout Pack 888. The Masons’ breakfasts usually includes their renowned French toast, pancakes, home fries, eggs, bacon and sausage as well as drinks like coffee, milk, juice and water.

Tamara Seymour, teacher of the Deaf/HH at Oswego County BOCES, has volunteered her time to lead a six-week sign language class at Lura Sharp Elementary. The class is made up of mostly fourth graders, and is in its second year. The afterschool class teaches students American Sign Language, a visual, conceptual and complete language.
SUNY Oswego’s Rice Creek Field Station will offer a new education program for teens this summer. Conservation Field Studies will focus on environmental stewardship along with team building. The deadline to apply while being considered for a scholarship to the new program is April 1.
